The Italian Rinaldo Nocentini (AG2R) was packed the yellow leader's jersey of the Tour de France ahead of Spanish Alberto Contador (Astana) on Friday, after the seventh stage, which was awarded the French Brice Feillu (Agritubel) in Arcalis (Andorra ).
Contador, winner of the Tour de France in 2007, struck in the last kilometers of the first mountain stage but the final six seconds remained in the yellow jersey that was initially announced that he had achieved.
Although not succeeded because of the fourth post Notencini, distanced several candidates to victory, including his teammate, the American Lance Armstrong, who crossed the finish some 20 seconds later.
