The San Francisco 49ers finished their fitness program the break of season without their head coach Mike Singletary has decided who will be his field marshal holder.

After gathering his players in their last practice before you leave them for the start of summer, Singletary thanked them for work and emphasized that it remains to be done and one of the assignments will also coach to decide who will in front of the attack: Alex Smith or Shaun Hill.
The team comes from their sixth consecutive losing season, but Singletary got a 5-4 record after replacing Mike Nolan, who was fired in the middle of the campaign.

Hill, who is 7-3 as a brand owner in the past two seasons, has a rate of 64% of passes completed in his career with 2.547 yards, 18 touchdowns and 9 interceptions.
For his part, Smith has been held in 30 of 32 matches in his career with 4.679 yards per pass, 54.4% of complete and a negative balance of 19 touchdowns against 31 interceptions, having lost the post in the last two years Hill before, but mainly to JT O'Sullivan in 2008 although the latter came to Cincinnati as a free agent this year. Smith did not launch a single pass in the previous season.
