Southern 500 Betting Odds at OGBOnline Gambling blog reports:
Kyle Busch will be looking to make it two in a row on Saturday night when the Sprint Cup Series hits the track at Darlington Raceway for the Southern 500.

Busch took the checkered flag in the Russ Friedman 400 at Richmond International Raceway over the weekend, holding off Tony Stewart and Jeff Burton for the victory. Ryan Newman and Mark Martin also picked up Top-5 results at Richmond.

Sam Hornish Jr., Jamie McMurray, Jeff Gordon, Casey Mears, and Juan Montoya rounded out the Top 10 in the Russ Friedman 400. Kurt Busch ended up in 12th place, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was 27th, and Jimmie Johnson's troubles put him in 36th.

Gordon holds a 10-point lead on Kurt Busch in the driver standings heading into this week's race, with Stewart 39 points back in third place. Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Johnson, Burton, Clint Bowyer, Carl Edwards, Newman, Greg Biffle, and Matt Kenseth complete the standings' Top 12.

Kyle Busch won the Dodge Challenger 500 at Darlington last May, while Gordon picked up his seventh Darlington victory in the Dodge Avenger 500 in 2007. Biffle (2005 and 2006), Johnson (twice in 2004), and Burton (twice in 1999) each have two wins on the track over the course of their Cup careers.

After racing at Darlington the drivers of the Sprint Cup Series will move on to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Sprint All-Star Race. That event will take place on May 16; the next two points races on the schedule are at Charlotte (May 24) and Dover (May 31).
